How To Extend The Life Of Your Die Cutting Boards

Regardless of the type of die cutting board you use, its life can be extended by following the guidelines below:

Ensure that the pad shifter is functioning properly
Rotate the cutting board 180° after each shift
Flip the cutting board for even wear
Check the cutting die’s condition. Make sure the cutting die:

is even across the board,

is not warped,

is not dull

Sharpen the cutting die on a regular basis
Do not drive the blade too deeply into the cutting board
Store board horizontally to prevent warping and arching
Make sure cutting press is properly leveled
