American Tru-Fit® Shank Cutting & Precure System, Model ATP-C
The ATP-C turns a roll of uncured Tru-Fit® material into finished, cured shanks at your own bench. The unit mounts on a tabletop and gives footwear manufacturers a complete shank production station: feed the material, cut it to length, and cure it in heated molds in 15 to 20 seconds. You produce only what the line calls for, so there is no need to stock pre-cut shanks in every size.

How the ATP-C Cut & Cure System Works
Rolls of uncured Tru-Fit® material load onto the material platform and thread around rollers to a guillotine-type cutter. The operator hand-feeds the material to the desired length and brings the cutter arm down to make the cut. Two to four pieces, depending on mold size, go onto the heated mold and the top mold closes over them.
While the first mold cures, the operator measures and cuts the next set for the second heated mold. Curing takes 15 to 20 seconds. The top cover lifts, the cured shanks brush out of the mold, freshly cut pieces go in, and the cycle continues. Each mold is cast or machined to your shank curve or last curve specifications, and the quick-change design lets you switch molds in seconds.
